Amid a flurry of visits to family and friends, unveiling of treasures under the tree, hanging stockings and celebrating every kind of festivity in between, feed your holiday spirit without lifting a finger

From indulgent brunches, dinners and specials, spend Christmas Day dining at restaurants around metro Phoenix.

All menus available on Dec. 25 only. Reservations are strongly recommended for all, and for many, they are required. 

Here are some of the best restaurant menus being served on Christmas Day in metro Phoenix.

Renata’s Hearth, Arizona Biltmore

From 3-8 p.m., entree specials feature espresso-rubbed pluma steak in cauliflower puree with sour cherry mostarda, cippolini and marcona almonds ($60), as well as pan-roasted duck breast, plated with dulce de leche chile sauce and parsnip puree ($45).

Family style dishes include house-smoked ham covered in a ponche navideno glaze and served with a trio of salsas and tortillas ($65) and smoked and braised wagyu beef cheek prepared with sherry, fideo and broccolini in a zesty preserved lemon aioli ($75). Braised collards with aji amarillo cream, spiced marcona almonds and a crunchy jamon accompaniment ($19) or savor crispy patatas bravas paired with salsa verde and chipotle aioli ($17). Holiday specials will also be offered at sister on-site restaurant McArthur’s from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

The Buffet, We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort

A lavish buffet ($49) will aim to satisfy from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. with a seafood display of shrimp, crab, mussels, crab chowder and smoked salmon as well as a carving station with smoked bone-in ham, espresso and sea salt crusted prime rib and roasted leg of lamb.

Tamales and fajitas will be served at the Las Tapas station; Beijing beef, assorted sushi rolls, honey walnut shrimp, chow mein and pho station at Dragon Wok & Noodles; ravioli Bolognese, wild mushroom risotto, pizza and flatbreads at Amore; and herb roasted turkey, apple cider pork with apple brandy sauce, haricots vert with shitake mushroom and macaroni and cheese at Simply Comfort. Specials will also be served 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at sister onsite restaurant Ahnala.

T. Cook’s, Royal Palms Resort and Spa

Linger over an afternoon three-course menu ($175) served 1-8 p.m. Highlights include: prime rib with confit garlic chive smashed potatoes and glazed carrots; lobster bisque with crème fraiche and caviar; halibut with butternut squash and creamy risotto; and peppermint crunch pie with white chocolate candy cane gelato. The dinner comes with a lavish seafood display and bread service. Reservations are required.

Litchfields, The Wigwam

Whether guests are looking for a fun family vacation, a romantic getaway or even the perfect staycation, The Wigwam offers something for everyone.

From 2-7 p.m., special holiday offerings include southwestern clam chowder served with a cheddar and jalapeño blue corn muffin ($14) and roasted holiday goose, a dark meat confit paired with fingerling potato hash, sautéed green beans with chestnuts, pomegranate, juniper and velouté ($36). Gingerbread old fashioned ($16), poinsettia cocktail ($14), peppermint espresso martini ($15) and pomegranate mule ($15) are fun sip specials. Reservations are required.

Palo Verde Restaurant, Boulders Resort & Spa

A four-course dinner ($110, $55 for ages 6-12) will be served 1- 8 p.m. It starts with a choice of mixed baby greens salad with glazed walnuts and dried stone fruit in a champagne cherry vinaigrette or wild local arugula salad with herbed goat cheese and roasted globe carrots in a spiced wine vinaigrette. The second course is winter squash bisque with fresh cream, pepitas and baby herbs. Entree options include: Kentucky bourbon glazed ham with glazed yams, roasted broccolini, red wine cranberry sauce and ham jus; butter basted beef tenderloin with mesquite spiced baby potato, jumbo asparagus, red crab, chimichurri and béarnaise and striped bass accompanied by Aleppo yam puree, bourbon maple brussels sprouts, sweet potato nest and pomegranate beurre blanc.

Decide between a gluten-free yule log chocolate cake filled with Nutella mousse and iced with chocolate ganache or pumpkin cheesecake in a graham cracker crust topped with Chantilly. A three-course dinner ($95, $40 for ages 6-12) at sister onsite restaurant Grill Kitchen and Bar will also be available from noon-7 p.m.

Terra Tempe Kitchen & Spirits, The Westin Tempe

Savor a three-course holiday menu ($100, $40 for ages 6-12) served noon-8 p.m. Highlights include: Christmas soup with kielbasa sausage, red bliss potatoes, red kidney beans and kale; pomegranate poached pear with ricotta cheese, endive, arugula, candied chestnuts and pear reduction; Latin spiced lamb loin accompanied by goat cheese whipped potato, roasted baby carrots, sorrel and cherry demi; jumbo diver scallops with parsnip puree, asparagus, king mushroom and cranberry gastrique.

Choose your sweet ending of honey cake topped with whipped pistachio mascarpone, honeycomb and orange blossom tuille or chocolate hazelnut tart with hazelnut frangipane, hazelnut praline, chocolate mousse and espresso dulce de leche.

Match Market & Bar, FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel

A four-course Christmas menu ($59) will be served during regular restaurant hours and will begin with a holiday cheese plate with jalapeno jam, fruits and nuts followed by brussels sprouts salad with cinnamon toasted almonds and goat cheese in a honey apple vinaigrette. The main attraction is a Christmas beef roast with roasted vegetables, parm-crusted smashed fingerling potatoes and a red wine demi sauce. Finish things off with Santa’s Milk and Cookies — a mini cake featuring chocolate chip cookie white cake with buttermilk frosting, santa hat garnish and sugar “snow.”

Maple & Ash

During restaurant hours, a special Christmas dinner ($100) will feature: Chateau with tarragon butter and roasted bone marrow; branzino with fennel, capers and preserved lemon; spinach with garlic, chili and crispy shallot, gratin of thyme, gruyere and parmesan cheese; asparagus with orange, almond and mint; and a holiday dessert.

Kitchen West, The Scottsdale Resort & Spa

Savor a holiday brunch ($92, $42 for ages 12 and younger) served 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Take the time to wander the selections of salads, cheeses, smoked meats, sushi and seafood ice display. There are made-to-order omelets, waffles and a carving station with bone-in ham with honey glaze, lamb chops and aged Angus New York striploin with horseradish. Other hot dishes include mashed potatoes, pan-seared swordfish with lemon-butter sauce and roasted root vegetables. Desserts include petit fours and cakes. Diners may bring non-perishable food items to donate to St. Mary’s Food Bank.

Talavera, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale

At Talavera a buffet brunch will be served on Christmas Day.

The Four Seasons Resort is hosting a festive Christmas Day brunch ($165, $58 for ages 5-12) served 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Peruse and indulge at a carving station and live pasta station while the kids enjoy a children’s buffet, Sweet Santa Land dessert extravaganza and hot chocolate station.
